Land information at a glance

01. Khatianki?

 The land records prepared during the survey containing the details of the land holdings of one or more individual landowners based on Mauza are to be scrutinized.

 02. C, S record key?

 C,S stands for Cadastral Survey.  The first district wise map and land record prepared in our country is called CS record.

 03. What is jurisdiction?

 The khatian prepared by the government after the promulgation of the Zamindari Acquisition and Tenancy Act in 1950 is called SA Khatianbala.

 04.  Nomenclature?

 If someone becomes the new owner of a land by inheritance or purchase or by any other process, the process of getting his name registered is called Nazari.

 05.  Is the deposit rejected?

 Dismissal of deposit means dividing the joint deposit and creating a new deposit separately.  Due to the transfer or distribution of any land belonging to a citizen, opening a new holding or khatian with some land from the original khatian is called Jama Hariz.

 06.  Retailer?

 The copy of khasra khatian prepared during land survey and distributed to the land owner before tasdik or attestation is called field paper.  After the certificate is attested or attested by the Revenue Officer, after hearing the objections and appeals, the copy of the certificate is published in full and is called the certificate.


07.  What is the schedule?

 Schedule means introductory detailed description of land.  To provide identification of a land, the description containing information such as the name of the concerned Mauza, Khatian No., Dag No., boundary of land, amount of land etc. is called schedule.

 08.  Is it funny?

 During the cadastral survey, each thana area is divided into several units and each unit is identified with its serial number and surveyed.  Each such unit in the Thana area is called a Mauza.  A Mauja consists of one or more villages or neighborhoods.

 09.  Taxpayer?

 The land tax collected by the government from the citizens on an annual basis for the use of land is called land tax.



 10.  Waqfkey?

 According to Islamic Law, Waqf is a donation of property by a Muslim landowner for the purpose of bearing the expenses of religious and social welfare institutions.

 11.  What is Motwalli?

 The person who manages and oversees the waqf property is called the Motwalli. The Motwalli cannot transfer the waqf property without the permission of the waqf administrator.

 12.  What is heir?

 Warish means heir under religious law.  If a person dies without making a will, the person or persons who, according to the provisions of law, become the owners of the property left by his wife, children or near relatives are called heirs.

 13.  What is Faraize?

 The rules and process of distributing the property of a deceased person according to Islamic law is called Faraiz.
